CEREBRAL PALSY HOME FOR ADULTS At Pevensey, our focus is on providing assisted living to those that need it. We believe that participation is the key to having an excellent quality of life. In order to achieve this, the residents are actively involved in the day-to-day running of the organisation. Similar to a Kibbutz, every resident is responsible for a task within his or her capabilities. ART AT SHOP 11 Underberg Mall The Art Gallery at Shop 11 is the home of the Underberg Art Group.Acrylics, oils, photographs, watercolours, graphite and crayon pieces are available, most are framed. Some are mounted and covered in acetate for overseas travel. There are huge pieces and moderately small pieces. Something for everyone. All pieces are for sale and are available at exceptionally good prices as there is no gallery or agents commission added in the price. It is a hub on Thursday mornings when the group gathers and invites anyone with a creative urge to join and work with them. Tables are provided and you can work immersed in a creative zone.
Kenmo Lake Autumn Picnic 28 April
It as has been tradition for nearly 40 years for families and friends in the Southern Drakensberg to enjoy the beautiful autumn weather with a picnic and gentle classical music at Kenmo Lake before winter sets in. Kenmo Lake on Hazeldene farm is a safe venue for children to run and play and for all to enjoy walking and photographing the stunning autumn trees around the lake. Music by Neil Prior and Berg Musicians Club. All are welcome. Bring your own food for a picnic, your drinks and your seating, (Note NO braai fires permitted, and no food will be on sale, so bring a bit more and share). This is a fundraising event, so bring a minimum of R40.00 per person: children under 12 are free. Many prizes drawn on your ticket numbers.
Underberg and Bulwer Historical and Museum Society is a non-profit organisation that maintains the Himeville Mueum and historical sites in the Pholela area.
